WHAT WE DO
With Fierce Compassion (WFC) is an evidence- based approach and support program which explores the habits, emotional conditioning and mental stories, that contribute to the quality of our health.
WFC is for individuals who have completed cancer treatment. It is both a philosophy and a coaching practice, that helps you integrate new habits to support your health.
WITH FIERCE COMPASSION
An integrative coaching program to support the health of individuals post cancer treatment
Inevitably, an inconvenient realization lands that our previous lifestyle, habits and beliefs contributed to, or even caused our dis-ease.
How do I move forward in life, knowing that my habits and my beliefs contributed to my diagnosis? Will I get cancer again, if I feel the same, think the same and act the same?
Learn to meet yourself with both truth and compassion as you move with care towards a healthier, happier and more peace-filled version of your former self.
Your journey is in consciously creating a healthier & happier you, by meeting yourself with accountability, as well as compassion.
But above all, in meeting yourself where you are, with fierce honesty and care-filled empathy.
“The gift of deciding to face your mortality without turning away or flinching is the gift of recognizing that because you will die, you must live now. Whether you flounder or flourish is always in your hands – you are the single biggest influence in your life.” Oprah Winfrey
WFC | THE PROGRAM
We offer a 6-module coaching program which creatively explores evidence-based processes that build habits, to process the emotional and mental side of cancer’s scarcely known PTSD, which lands in survivorship.
Learn about health, about yourself and how you can take full ownership of your emotional, mental and physical health, through practical and tangible tools, while being supported by a professional, with first-hand experience.
In our coaching sessions, you will learn about physical, mental and emotional health. Explore the science of health and how to practically apply placebo effect, psychoneuroimmunology and epigenetics to guard and enhance your health through personal growth.
OUR PURPOSE
My name is Brett Simpson, and I am the Founder of WFC. I completed my cancer treatment in 2007 and found myself falling into depression. My support fell away, and I was confronted with the realization that my lifestyle choices led directly to my diagnosis.
My depression, I found out later, was common for “survivors”. Facing cancer and potential death (a cancer journey subconsciously is about facing our mortality) taught me so much about what supported my health, as well as what contributed to my cancer diagnosis.
The problem was that social media and all the people around me who loved me, suddenly became health experts and were telling me to do this and do that!
I needed someone to help me learn what was actually true and relevant, how to apply it and to help me process what came up emotionally and mentally!
